HBAA Receives ALA Support
Each year, the American Lawyers Alliance (ALA) awards monies in support of local projects to legal auxiliaries throughout the United States. This year, on behalf of the Leon Jaworski Award Committee, Jane Larkin submitted an application to receive funds from the ALA Auxiliary Support Program. The ALA awarded $350.00 to the Leon Jaworski Award Committee. The HBAA also received a certificate of recognition from the ALA.
The HBAA is an affiliate member of the ALA. Many of our HBAA members are also members of the ALA, which is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Among many other things, the ALA focuses on preservation and enhancement of the legal system and recognizes teachers, citizens and various auxiliaries.
